Eileen McKone Erni, RYT
Fifteen years ago Eileen found Power Yoga as a way to become
“Madonna fit”. Soon after, she discovered its true power- helping her to find calmness and security within. Eileen's curiosity grew leading her to become a certified RYT through YOGAspirit® Studios. In Eileen’s classes prepare to go deep, detoxifying the body in a slow flow style, with an emphasis on alignment and finding your truth. She feels blessed to realize the potential yoga has to change lives. Her goal is for you to discover this, take it off the mat and into the rest of your life.

Elaine O'Rourke, RYT
Elaine O’Rourke is continually inspired by the transformations that occur through yoga. This shines through in her optimistic, up-beat, but calming personality. She encourages you to reach for that blissful state of mind, to be fully present both on and off the mat. By her commitment to learning and delving deeper into the yogic teachings, she constantly brings a fresh approach to her classes. She enjoys integrating teachings from different styles and has studied with many renowned teachers. Presently she is assisting in the Yogaspirit® Studios 200hr teacher training program and is completing her 500hr training. She is also certified through the Sivananda Vedanta Organization. Being a musician and recording artist, Elaine’s lilting Irish voice will invoke the mystical within you. Often, she provides her own live music for Savasana and Kirtan!

Jerry Urban, RYT
As the body changes throughout life, so do our needs.  Jerry was living in Los Angeles when his body told him "enough with this weight lifting, find something else." He noticed a yoga class in session.

Upon inquiry and some much needed coaxing, he took a Hatha Yoga class, a physical asana-based practice, and began integrating it into his life slowly.  It became a perfect compliment to his strength training as he slowly incorporated it into his life.  Next he discovered Power Yoga, a very physical practice in a heated room.  Who knew one could sweat so much in yoga.  It seemed like a perfect substitute for what was becoming a more stale routine of lifting weights.  Bodies and mats packed close together in a hot room breathing, generating prana, the energy in the room uplifting as the class moved in unison, both exhilarating for the subtle body and invigorating for the physical body, but he just didn't realize it then.

And so the path began to unfold.  After moving to New England and craving more and more yoga, his practice spread to a daily routine and with it came a desire to know more, to try more and understand it deeper.  He attended Kripalu where he completed his initial 200-hour teacher training with the intention of deepening his practice and possibly teaching.  This opened many new avenues for his practice that extended beyond its physicality incorporating meditation and more breathing.

While opening up to these new avenues, he came across a Shiva Rea style vinyasa.  Her Prana Flow practice brought in new aspects of fluidity, change and newness and further stimulated a spiritual exploration.  Its rhythmic and creative vinyasa style allowed for another aspect of growth and change for him and illuminated yet another aspect of his teaching style.  Now, he just hopes the fun will never stop as his journey of new beginnings continues.  Live Breathe and Be Yoga.

Kat Mansfield , RYT
Kat Mansfield took her first yoga class while pregnant with her first child. That baby is now a teenager and Kat’s passion for yoga continues unabated. A curriculum developer by training, Kat has always been fascinated by how we learn. Just as there are many paths in yoga toward the destination of samahdi, there are many learning styles – and teaching methods to match them – to make yoga practice safer, more accessible and more sustainable over the long, long years of practice that are the great joy of yoga. Her classes are a work out, but, importantly, they are accessible to everyone, whether you’re a raw beginner or a long-time yogi looking to ramp up your practice. New comers inspire us with beginner mind. Experienced sannyasins show us the beauty and reward of long-term practice. Kat explored several yoga modalities before finding her home with the breath and dynamic movement of Vinyasa yoga. Nationally certified, she gratefully acknowledges the influence and support of all her teachers, both inside and outside the discipline of yoga. A former high school English, History and Theatre Arts teacher, Kat holds an Ed.M from Harvard University. www.katmansfield.com

Kim Valeri, RYT
Kim Valeri is a master yoga teacher, spiritual counselor, and mother.  She is a gifted American transformational healer who works with "everyday people" to raise conscious understanding and awareness to aspects of life that one is normally blind to.  She founded yogaspirit® studios to share the powerful teachings of yoga from her home base in New England and has supported students worldwide to use yoga as a healing art of personal transformation and self-realization.  With over 30 years experience, Kim has realized firsthand the power of healing through her personal yoga practice. She teaches from a place of working with consciousness and refining the pranic pathways by utilizing a foundation from many years of Iyengar based hatha yoga practice and training.  Therefore, her classes infuse teachings from Surat Shabda Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, and Iyengar.  As a teacher, Kim is known for blending spiritual compassion with technical proficiency, inspiring students with her strength, grace, and service.

Michelle Abell, RYT
Michelle Abell has been practicing yoga on and off for most of her life and completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification with Kim Valeri of YOGAspirit® Studios in June 2007. She is currently working to complete her 500-hour Certification. Michelle’s favorite aunt opened the yogic door for her as a teenager by encouraging her to complete a 28-day practice. This introduction allowed her to experience great gains in her flexibility. It wasn’t until the birth of her first son in 1998 that Michelle found the peace and freedom of both body and mind in her yoga practice. She comes to the mat with an open mind and open heart to inspire her students to find what it is they are looking for in their practice, and she encourages them to bring this insight off the mat and into their lives. In her adult classes, she teaches in the Iyengar-style and focuses on proper form and alignment, often moving slower to allow the body to gently release the places it is holding stress. Michelle also enjoys doing yoga with children and allows them to inspire the class with their infectious energy and imagination, while bringing them to a place where they can find stillness in their busy lives.

Patty Lynch, RYT, LMT
Patty has been teaching yoga since 2002. She is a graduate of YOGAspirit® Studios 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training and has studied with Kim Valeri at the 500-hour level. She discovered yoga by dropping into a free class in 2000 and has been hooked ever since. Experiencing the profound effects yoga has had on her life, Patty wants to share yoga as a path of transformation and contentment. Her teaching style includes respect for each individual’s skill level and body awareness while encouraging challenge and growth both on and off the mat. Her classes are light-hearted and fun, but also offer an in-depth challenge focusing on alignment and form. In 2006 Patty received her massage certification and is a practicing massage therapist. She feels that the Universal Spirit that resides in us all is truly our guiding source and that when you look for goodness you most often find it.
